Uni-Italia will coordinate the Pavilion dedicated to Study in Italy at NAFSA, a four-day event beginning tomorrow in Washington, which will welcome 32 Italian academic institutions to promote the Italian higher education system and academic cooperation between Italy and the rest of the world.

Uni-Italia will attend NAFSA Conference 2023 thanks to the strong collaboration of the MAECI and with the Italian Embassy in Washington and H.E. the Ambassador Mariangela Zappia who will receive the Italian delegation tomorrow May 30th at Villa Firenze for a representative event, which Uni-Italia contributed to the organisation.

The following day, May 31st at 9:30 (EDT), President Profumo will bring the Italian experience and data on the theme "Crisis Management: Global Perspectives for Supporting International Students" during a jointed conference session with Allan Goodman, Chief Executive Officer of the IIE, Kai Sicks, Secretary General of DAAD, and Titia Bredée, Director-General of Nuffic. In the last decade we have witnessed the escalation of emergency situations, such as drought and famine, as well as dangerous socio-political events for people. The President’s speech will illustrate the main national and international projects, actions and networks for the support of students at risk or in economic difficulty which go alongside the traditional initiatives for the student to guarantee protection, integration and inclusion.
