On April 14, the Italian Days on Higher Education event took place in Chongqing, organized by Uni-Italia in collaboration with the Consulate General of Italy in Chongqing.
The event, which took place at the Beicang Art Area, focused entirely on studying in Italy and was inaugurated with opening remarks from Fabio Schina, the Consul General of Italy in Chongqing, Professor Alessandra Guidi, the scientific attaché, and Wang Feng, President of the Chinese Association for Professional Art Education.
The fair featured an outstanding range of exhibitors from both Italian and Chinese academic institutions, including representatives from Università Ca' Foscari Venezia, Istituto Europeo di Design, Rome University of Fine Arts, Nuova Accademia di Belle Arti di Milano, and representatives from Chongqing University, China Conservatory of Music, Sichuan International Studies University, Sichuan Normal University, Chongqing Institute of Foreign Studies, Chengdu International Studies University, and Southwest University.

The event attracted over 150 visitors, including students and parents interested in studying in Italy and meeting Italian language training institutions in the Chongqing and Sichuan regions.
During the event, B2B activities were organized to facilitate dialogue and negotiation between Italian and Chinese universities, along with B2C meetings with students and parents. Representatives from Chinese and Italian academic institutions held seminars on topics such as teaching and studying the Italian language, potential and opportunities for collaboration between universities in the Chongqing and Sichuan regions and Italian universities, as well as sharing experiences of Sino-Italian academic cooperation and the most in-demand Italian degree programs.
To conclude, Dr. Xing Jianjun, director of Uni-Italia in China, presented a special report titled "Analysis and Interpretation of Data on Studying in Italy in 2023 and Future Trends in Studying in Italy."
The event provided a valuable platform for fostering educational and cultural exchange between Italy and China.
