Uni-Italia will once again take part in NAFSA 2025, the world’s largest international education event focused on networking and global cooperation, taking place in San Diego, California, USA, from May 27 to May 30, 2025.

Italy’s participation will be coordinated through the "Study in Italy" National Pavilion (booth #703), which will host 32 Italian institutions committed to promoting academic excellence and international partnerships.

Among these, the collaboration between Uni-Italia and INDIRE – Erasmus+ National Agency, launched in 2024, continues with the shared goal of enhancing the global visibility of the AFAM sector (Higher Education in the Arts, Music, and Dance).

Thanks to this initiative, nine Italian music conservatories and academies will be present in the Pavilion, ready to engage with international stakeholders interested in artistic education:

  • Conservatorio di Musica "Lorenzo Perosi", Campobasso
  • Conservatorio di Musica “Alessandro Scarlatti”, Palermo
  • Conservatorio di Musica “Giuseppe Verdi”, Milan
  • Conservatorio di Musica “Nino Rota”, Monopoli
  • Conservatorio di Musica "G.F. Ghedini", Cuneo
  • Conservatorio di Musica “Giacomo Puccini”, Varese
  • Conservatorio Statale di Musica “Pietro Mascagni”, Livorno
  • Conservatorio Statale di Musica “A. Steffani”, Castelfranco Veneto
  • Siena Jazz – Accademia Nazionale del Jazz, Siena

Marco Calvi and Chiara Gilardoni will represent Uni-Italia at the fair, supporting institutional networking and international engagement.

Foreign institutions interested in connecting with participating Italian universities and AFAM institutions are invited to contact us at academic.cooperation@uni-italia.it.

We look forward to welcoming you in San Diego to share ideas, foster new collaborations, and strengthen global academic ties.
