Uni-Italia is pleased to announce the first edition of the Italian Days on Higher Education in Morocco, a key country in the context of Euro-Mediterranean cooperation. This event officially opens the IDOHE2025 campaign and represents a major step forward in strengthening academic dialogue between Italy and North Africa.
A new stop, a bridge between cultures
This initiative takes place at a particularly meaningful time for bilateral relations, in line with the objectives of the Mattei Plan, which promotes equal and sustainable cooperation between Italy and African countries. Education, training, and youth mobility are at the heart of this strategy, seen as essential tools for shared development.
Morocco stands out as a leading partner in this framework: a cultural crossroads between Europe and Africa, the country has a vibrant educational landscape, a growing number of students interested in studying abroad, and strong cooperation ties with Italian institutions in areas such as language, the arts, technology, and science.
Event locations
- Casablanca – 2 October 2025
Morocco’s economic capital will host the opening day. - Rabat – 5 October 2025
The second and final stop will take place in the political and cultural capital.
Participating Italian institutions will be able to choose whether to join one or both cities, based on their strategic priorities. The event is organised in close collaboration with the Embassy of Italy in Rabat and the Italian Cultural Institute.
