The first edition of the Italian Days on Higher Education (IDOHE) in Morocco concluded with outstanding results, confirming the growing interest of Moroccan students in Italian higher education. The two events, held in Casablanca on October 2 and Rabat on October 5, attracted over 1,400 participants eager to learn more about the academic offerings of more than twenty Italian Higher Education Institutions.
Such an impressive turnout on both sides was made possible by an effective and well-structured promotional campaign. A special thanks goes to the Embassy of Italy and the Consulate General for their concrete support of initiatives of this kind, with the participation and opening remarks of H.E. Ambassador Pasquale Salzano and Vice Consul Maria Grazia Marchese Duminuco.

Moroccan students showed great enthusiasm, with many expressing a strong interest in high-level fields such as computer science, medicine, and architecture. This high level of engagement demonstrated the great potential for collaboration between Italy and Morocco in the field of higher education.

The success of this first edition represents an excellent starting point for the future development of Uni-Italia’s activities and role in the region.
