The IDOHE event returns to Jakarta, where it has received growing recognition in recent years – not only from Indonesian students, but also from the Italian universities that have taken part, who have praised the quality of the interactions and the local academic environment.

This event is part of a broader strategy to strengthen Italy’s educational presence in Indonesia, a country that today stands out as one of the most dynamic markets for international student mobility in Southeast Asia.

A dynamic and expanding context

With a youthful population and increasing demand for higher education abroad, Indonesia is a key partner for promoting Italian academic excellence, particularly in fields such as engineering, design, economics, and sustainability.

IDOHE Jakarta takes place during a full week of student recruitment activities, coordinated with the European Higher Education Fairs – Indonesia (EU Delegation):

• 6 November – Yogyakarta
• 8–9 November – Jakarta

The IDOHE on 7 November will be a unique opportunity to showcase Italian Higher Education Institutions in the heart of the capital, with activities involving students, local schools, universities, and educational stakeholders.
