European Networks and Agencies for Internationalization - Second Annual Conference

Uni-Italia, in cooperation with the Italian Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, the Italian Ministry of Education, University and Research and the Italian Ministry of Interior Affairs, holds the second edition of the Annual Conference European Networks and Agencies for Internationalization on 21st November 2014 at Sala Aldo Moro, Farnesina Building in Rome. The event is part of the several initiatives organized for the Italian Presidency of the Council of the European Union.

 

The Conference is one of the many activities that Uni-Italia holds in order to support university cooperation and cultural exchange between Italy and other foreign countries in line with the Italian Govern strategy.

The purpose of the event is fostering relationships between the major European Agencies for University Internationalization and enhancing a profitable dialogue based on the interchange of experiences and viewpoints in support of internationalization activities of advanced training available in Europe.

 

The Conference will be opened with a welcome expressed by Uni-Italia Chairman, Cesare Romiti, and greeting will be presented by the Italian Minister of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation, Paolo Gentiloni, the Italian Minister of Education, University and Research, Stefania Giannini, the Italian Vice Minister of Interior Affairs, Filippo Bubbico, the Dean of the Conference Italian Universities Rectors, Giovanni Puglisi.

The second part of the event will be dedicated to the debate on Internationalization process in Europe: implementation of governmental internationalization policies by European Agencies promoting Higher Education and EU’s guides line.

During this section the major European Agencies present will give their contribution:

British Council, Campus France, DAAD (German Academic Exchange Service), EESF (Education Exchange Support Foundation in Lituania), Fondazione Universidad.es, OeAD (Austrian Exchange Service).
